  1. Both covers are beautiful (and match!), but I'm partial to blue, so I'll have to go with The Assassin's Curse. Can someone get the cover designer and artist some cookies, please? :-D

  2. I'm going to have to say The Assasin's Curse. Why? I love how the blues fit together and I'm prone to think that the color and formatting of the author's name just doesn't fit with the orange. Love the font and the color, but it kinda stands out it the wrong way for me. THANKS!

  3. I like the blue cover the most. I think that is because I am not partial to orange. Plus I have already read Assassin's Curse and have some history that aids my decision. I wonder what will happen in The Pirate's Wish. I am on the fence about reading it. Well there is still a little bit of time before I have to decide.
p.s. I am not entering the giveaway as I already own a copy.

  4. Hi, I just recently started reading blogs, so I'm a little confused. If I'm subscribed by email does that mean I'm a GFC follower?

  5. Both of these books have beautiful designs. Their covers are both so intricately designed and have such vibrant color... Sigh... I could stare at the blue all day, so I would have to pick The Assassin's Curse.

I mean, The Pirate's Wish's orange cover is just as attracting. But the blue is just so much more calming and beautiful in my opinion.

  7. I have to say that they both look amazing, but if I had to choose one that I thought looked best, I would say that I love the first book's cover best. It's charming in a way with the blues and starry look. I'm a big fan of the font, even though they both share the same font. Also, I like the underlying scenery. It's magical looking :) However I agree with you, Strange Chemistry rocked them both! I can't wait to read them! I've heard great things about The Assassin's Curse!

  8. Assassin's Curse looks great! I like it more since blue is my favorite color and the ship in the night is majestic. :) I love both of them though. They're both breathtaking.

  9. I like the Assassin's Curse cover more, & that's because I'm a sucker for Onion Shaped architecture! Really, I love it. Now, this cover has those onion roofs shadowed by the moonlight, reflecting on the sea... well, I love it.

In the pirates Wish, the Spinx is very representative on that dessert context. But NO, Arabian architecture is it~

  11. First, Follow GFC under Passing Pages and under email with ranchgirl07@msn.com where I can also be reached.

To answer the question. I have to say, I like The Assasins Curse better. I like the picture of the city and the blue cover. I do like A Pirates Wish as well, but the creature-or whatever it is-on the front kinda freaks me out. But the covers color is beautiful with the black picture overlayed on it. Gosh, I don't know. I like them both I guess!

    And Happy-early-birthday!

PS. I know we have to wait to enter. But I wont remember ;) So even if you have to disqualify me, that's okay!!!

  12. I think that both of the covers are great, but I have to go with.... honestly? Both of them! I know that seems like a cop out, but I am being completely truthful. I love the color of The Assassin's Curse. It is beautiful. And I love the city and the pirate ship silhouetted against the moon. But, I love the Griffin(?) on The Pirate's Wish. I love the stars on the first cover/ The fonts on both covers are awesome. I like the author's name on the second. They are both awesome covers, and I just can't choose! Thanks so much for this giveaway!

  13. I like the blue in The Assassin's Curse, and the huge "C", but I think the orange and red colors in The Pirate's Wish stands out more.

  16. I like the assassins curse cover more! I'm not sure why, maybe because you can barely read the authors name in pirates wish? Anyways thanks for the giveaway

PRETTY! I love the oranges:) Though I love the second cover, I think the first cover is my favorite, I like the big sweeping curves of the letters in the title. A silly thing to fixate on, but my eyes go right to them, and The Pirate's Wish doesn't really have that. Thanks so much for the giveaway Sierra! *fingers crossed*

  18. They are both very eye catching with the silhouet type black embellishments and drawings over a specific color scheme, but I'm leaning more towards the second because of the warmth of the reddish orange. Though I do love the city image with the ship in the first one more than the manticore on the second. It's the color that grabs me though.

  19. OOoo, Thanks for the amazing giveaway! Both covers are absolutely gorgeous, but I gotta say, I love the second one– the color is GORGEOUS! Totally has that desert-rustic feel to it and love the gradient change from red to orange :)

I want to wish you a happy and healthy birthday! We celebrated my sister's 16th a few days ago without power and heat because we got hit by Sandy, so I hope nothing intervenes with you. I actually just started a giveaway on my blog today, which is your birthday, so consider that my gift to you, if any! lol
